This Hamsa is part of my latest 2017 collection of Prayers for the Home. It has been inspired by the idea of the small things you do for your family create your home. The hundreds of hearts are almost bursting out of the borders of the Hamsa, which in itself is a symbol of the hand of Hashem (G-d) with its protective nature, bringing happiness, luck, health, harmony and good fortune. So with this being the shape in which the hearts have taken, symbolises that all the small efforts, the labours of love, one takes moulds a life loaded with love and good fortune.
The colour purple within Jewish symbolism represents royalty. I have surrounded these hearts with that colour to represent the wish that Hashem surrounds the concepts discussed above and helps to achieve it.
