Olives trees have always represented peace. The olive branch the dove brings to Noah is a symbol of life being present after the flood had washed away and purified the land.
Here the olive tree in the centre of the Prayer of the Home. It is not a branch but the whole tree, grounded firmly. Representing that life has established and is full of the potential of growth and filled with peace (olives). This is the wish for the one's home.
There is also a ring of leaves, almost like a constellation. The word in Hebrew for a constellation takes it root from a word which means hope and positiveness. The idea of leaves on a branch also represents growth, the opportunity for new growth and development. This is entwined in to the rings which make up the Prayer for the Home.
