How it works
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE TEXT?
When selecting your Ketubah please let me know which Ketubah Text you would like. If there isn't an option for the type you require, don't worry please just choose 'Other'. You should speak to your Rabbi and he will also guide you as to which text is required. If you have a specific text you have discussed using with your Rabbi but is not available on the site. Please select Other and specify you have a specific text to use.
Once your order is complete, I will contact you to discuss your text in detail. If you have chosen other you can now send your specific text to me to use for your Ketubah.
The text for the United Synagogues UK has been approved by the Chief Rabbi's Office. The South African Orthodox text has been approved by the Beth Din in South Africa. I also have a approved version for the Reform Shuls in South Africa. However I am happy to work with the text your Rabbi supplies.
Your Rabbi can either send me his preferred text or I can send him/you one of the above versions for him to sign off before we produce your Ketubah. I will work with you and your Rabbi until he is happy with the text.
CAN I COMPLETE THE TEXT?
You can definitely complete the text of your Ketubah. Completed Text is when your Rabbi supplies the 'blank' fields in the Ketubah Text before the day of your wedding, and all that is left is for the Witnesses (and Bride, Groom & Rabbi) to sign the Ketubah on the day.
Once you have selected your text, or your Rabbi has sent over one to be used. I will send a numbered text layout back for your Rabbi to reply with the blank fields. Once he has done this, I will edit the text and send back for him to approve before producing your Ketubah.
WE HAVE AN IDEA BUT I DON'T SEE IT IN YOUR COLLECTION?
I love working with clients to make their Ketubah dreams come true. I would love to hear your ideas, the values, images and concepts that are important to incorporate into your ketubah. In this case you will select a Bespoke Ketubah Design .
Together we will discuss all your ideas. Then I will go, have a think and come back with a few rough sketches and we can then refine it from there. We can do this face to face, over the phone, whats app call or Skype.
Please allow 3-4 months for a Bespoke Ketubah Design.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
I recommend that my clients leave at least 8-12 weeks for the Ketubah to be produced and posted.
We need to leave time for your Rabbi to sign off the text, even if you have chosen a specific text there might always be changes, and your Rabbi might prefer the text to be completed.
If you have chosen to go with a Bespoke Ketubah Design then please leave 3-4 months for your Ketubah to be completed, produced and posted to you.

For Prayers & Blessings, these generally work on a 2 week production time.
WILL MY KETUBAH FADE?
Not at all. All my Ketubahs are printed on Acid Free Fine Art Quality paper, with acid free inks. I suggest that you use a acid free pen (just like the ones used for Scrapbooking) when having your ketubah signed. I do supply a black acid free pen with your Ketubah order.

DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT SIZES?
Yes. We are in the process in adding smaller sizes to each Ketubah you see. The smallest size will be A3 versions of the collection currently on the website. If you would like to discuss this further, please be in touch with us.
